March 23, 2011

Intlock, a leader in enterprise portal and website analytics, today announced the release of its enhanced version of CardioLog 2011 specifically for SharePoint for Internet websites. CardioLog, using its high end technology and experience for monitoring SharePoint sites brings this technology including its seamless integration with SharePoint's unique object model, hierarchical structure, metadata, user groups, user profiles, and action types to the next level.

Along with premium support and its long list of satisfied mega enterprise customers CardioLog provides the right solution for organizations using SharePoint for their website.

Furthermore, CardioLog 2011 provides a new and intuitive web-based user interface. This enhanced new UI enables analysts, information workers, and administrators to monitor their website's and portal's activity from a single analytics dashboard. Hence, enabling customers to maximize their ROI from portal and website investment and assure a successful deployment of the website and its connected applications.

  • Some of CardioLog's advantages over other analytics solutions are:
  • New reports package for SharePoint Internet Sites, including: traffic sources, navigation summary, IP drill down and more.
  • A new state of the art web-based user interface and graphical charts.
  • A full web analytics package which includes a unique JavaScript tracking mechanism designed for SharePoint.
  • Full product localization support for English, German, French, and Spanish.
  • Intuitive configuration wizard for quick integration with SharePoint 2010, 2007 and 2003.
  • Seamless integration based on SharePoint's hierarchy, taxonomy, content, and user metadata.
  • Advanced visitor segmentation, including integration with Active Directory, SharePoint user profiles, SharePoint audiences, and others custom organizational structures.
  • Sub sites and documents reports-based, provided by a built-in tree view of the portal structure.

CardioLog 2010 Includes New Reports and Enhanced Interface to Help Large and Midsized Organizations Maximize ROI for SharePoint Deployments

Intlock, the leader in enterprise portal analytics, today announced the availability of CardioLog 2010, a comprehensive portal analytics solution for SharePoint 2010 users. CardioLog, used today by dozens of large and midsized organizations across major industries, enables SharePoint administrators and line-of-business managers to quickly gain insight into portal usage and dramatically improve portal quality. CardioLog 2010 for SharePoint 2010 is available for download.

In recent years, organizations from all sectors have invested exorbitant amounts of money in the setup and implementation of enterprise portals. According to Gartner, the portal software market is estimated to cross $1 billion dollars by 2011. And yet, most organizations lack information regarding portal activity, data that could be used to make portals more effective. Conventional web analytics tools -- including Google Analytics -- fail to satisfy this requirement, precluding organizations from obtaining true visibility into and control over their portals.

CardioLog, which has been in the market since 2005, offers significantly more functionality than standard web analytics solutions, and CardioLog 2010 is a vast improvement over the analytics capabilities that SharePoint 2010 offers out of the box. To ensure that customers are maximizing the return on their SharePoint investments, CardioLog 2010 enables users to drill deeper into portal page views, visitors, search and navigation, and to easily track portal growth and goals. For example:

  • Content and Views -- Content reports are all based on CardioLog's familiarity with the portal's content and structure, and include metrics such as page views, top pages, time on page, peek days and hours, inactive sites and pages, document viewing, and more.
  • Portal Visitors -- Thanks to its client side tracking mechanism, CardioLog offers information about anonymous and authenticated users, along with their browsing patterns. Reports include unique users, visits, browsers and OS, time on site, bounce rate, returning visitors, loyalty, recency, and more.
  • SharePoint Search -- Search activity is monitored by CardioLog's specialized tracing agent. Search metrics include number of searches, top phrases, failed searches, who searched, search origin pages, search results activity, and more.
  • Site Navigation -- Browsing into the portal, within the portal and out of the portal, are all monitored by CardioLog. Reports include navigation paths, entrance paths, referring pages, referring keywords, external destinations, landing pages, exit pages, and more.
  • Audit and Administration -- CardioLog offers many administrative reports which provide information about document audit and portal growth, such as content size, portal inventory (types, extensions), content owners and editors, document and item actions, unmodified sites and documents, and more.

CardioLog is used heavily today by large and midsized organizations in the financial services, government, education, healthcare, manufacturing and entertainment industries. For example, Pfizer, the Fortune 40 pharmaceuticals giant, replaced WebTrends with CardioLog to monitor the performance of its worldwide "Farms" portal. The International Monetary Fund is using CardioLog with SharePoint to oversee activity across thousands of portal sub-sites. And the Molson Coors Brewing Company switched to CardioLog from Nintex to provide analytics for its global intranet. In general these deployments have helped to improve employee, customer and trading partner productivity and satisfaction.

"As portal technology has become a key customer, partner and employee communication vehicle in the largest organizations, portal analytics solutions have achieved significant status among IT and business leaders," said Dror Ben-Ishay, Intlock's CEO. "With CardioLog 2010 for SharePoint 2010, we are giving users more portal intelligence so they can make smarter decisions regarding staffing, computing resources, employee travel, content development, and customer and partner relationships. Our goal is helping users optimize their portals, and CardioLog 2010 does this better than any competing system."
